Getting Started

How does Creddley work?

Creddley helps you find trusted lenders in our network. You fill out one application, and we match you with lenders who are likely to approve your bad credit loan based on your profile and needs.

How fast can I get funded?

Loan approvals are usually made within minutes. However, deposit times depend on the lender and your bank. Same day deposit is possible in some cases. But in most cases, you can expect funds as soon as the next business day—similar to how a check deposit clears.

How much does it cost to use Creddley?

Creddley's matching service is completely free for borrowers. You will never pay us any fees. However, your chosen lender may charge fees as part of their loan terms.

Is Creddley a lender?

No, Creddley is not a lender. We are a loan matching service that helps borrowers find lenders in our network who specialize in bad credit loans. We do not make lending decisions or provide loans directly.

Loan Application

What information do I need to apply?

You'll need basic personal information (name, address, SSN), employment details, income information, and your desired loan amount. The application typically takes 2-3 minutes to complete.

How long does the approval process take?

Initial matching happens instantly. Once matched with a lender, approval decisions are typically made within minutes to hours, depending on the lender's requirements.

What documentation is required to apply?

You’ll need to provide basic personal information (name, address, Social Security number), employment details, monthly income, and a valid checking account. Some lenders may request additional verification such as pay stubs or bank statements before finalizing approval. The application itself usually takes only 2–3 minutes to complete online.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Initially, a soft credit check might be done which does not affect your credit score. If you proceed with a lender, they may perform a hard credit check.

What credit score do I need?

Our network includes lenders who work with various credit profiles, including bad credit and no credit. While a higher credit score may get you better terms, we have options for most credit situations.

What’s the difference between a “soft” and a “hard” credit check?

Soft credit check: Performed during your initial application. It does not affect your credit score and is used to match you with potential lenders. Hard credit check: If you decide to move forward with a lender, they may run a hard credit inquiry. This can impact your credit score and becomes part of your credit history. Creddley only uses soft credit checks during the matching process. Hard checks occur only if you proceed with a specific loan offer.

Loan Terms

What loan amounts are available?

Our network of lenders typically offers personal loans from $200 to $50,000, depending on your creditworthiness and income.

What are the typical interest rates?

Interest rates vary based on your credit profile and chosen lender, typically ranging from 5.99% to 35.99% APR (variable rate).

Are there any fees to use Creddley?

No. Creddley does not charge consumers any fees, and there is no fee to submit your information online. If you are matched and approved for a loan, the lender—not Creddley—will provide you with a detailed disclosure of potential fees and the interest rate before you accept the loan. Possible lender fees may include: Origination fees – a one-time cost for processing the loan. Late payment fees – applied if you miss or delay a scheduled payment. Prepayment penalties – some lenders charge if you pay off the loan early. These fees vary by lender and state law. You are under no obligation to accept any offer if you are not comfortable with the terms.

What are the income requirements?

Most lenders in Creddley’s network require at least $1,000 in monthly income and proof of employment for 90+ days. Requirements can vary by lender and state regulations, but meeting this minimum improves your chances of approval.
